2006 F-350 Amarillo ...

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
Today I put in a full day on this 2006 Ford F-350 Amarillo Edition. As I am sure you will notice the truck has some upgrades including a lift kit and a set of chrome West Coast Choppers wheels. My process on this monster was as follows:

Hand wash and claybar the exterior.
Chrome wheels washed with diluted HF acid wash.
Scrub fendewells and suspension with APC and pressure wash.
Dress undercarriage and fenderwells.

All chrome polished with Speedy Metal polish.
Stainless steel exhaust polished with Speedy and 0000 steel wool.
Wheels hand polished with Speedy.

Following claybar:
Paint buffed with Green Foam pad and Hi-Temps HCL.
Followed by 3M Ultrafina w/ blue foam pad.
Exterior sealed with Klasse Sealant Glaze.
Wheels and chrome sealed with Klasse Sealant Glaze.
Glass cleaned with Sprayaway.

Sorry no interior pics. The black Amerillo interior was done real nice by Ford, but I was a bit too tired at the end of this detail to take anymore pics.

Very nice work on the truck Dean! The paint really jumps out at you. Oh, I don't blame you foe not taking more pics. I'd be beat too!

Looks good. Is it me or is it hard to remove that Klasse Sealant Glaze? Is there some trick to it that I do not know about?

The paint really jumps out at you.

I have to second 9D4E420. In fact I will go even farther...that paint looks outstanding. Better than a banana or a lemon. Brite as the sun.

The wheels look very nice... in fact stellar!!:bigups
