2006 Black Mercedes ML500 Severe overspray removal - Garry Dean - Tampa, FL - Premium Custom Detailing

Garry Dean

Garry Dean Quality!
This one was a real doosey. It was infested with industrial overspray that was as hard as concrete. This one took me 3 whole days to complete.

As if it werent bad enough that this was an SUV, but it was black to boot. What a pain!

Check out the video!

Thanks for watching!

Garry, why no singing in this one? I love your videos, you could do a hack job and really use that razor blade and I would still watch, as your personality is awesome.

Have you ever met someone that didn't like you?

And sorry for the other, the Mercedes looks GREAT. Your friend needs to park somewhere else next time :)

Great turn around Garry! I LOL when you pulled out the razor blade, you should like to that guy so everyone that doesnt know can appreciate what you are doing there.

Was your process just CM medium grade clay? I know you are a fan of the Ultima clay block was this not aggressive enough to remove overspray?

Finally, you have your own line of products!?!?! Wow how cool is that. Interested to find out some more about them.

nice work garry! i love over jobs.

Thanks, I don't mind them either. There's good money in it too.

Nice job Garry. A paint scraper is one way to remove overspray.

It's definately not my way, that's for sure. Thanks!

Oh, I'm sure there are plenty of peeps that don't like me, but most of them don't even know me.

Thanks for the comments!

The Ultima Elastrofoam is not aggressive enough to remove heavy overspray.

Love your videos man you go the knack for it

Thank you, sir!

thanks for another entertaining video.

No problem, I'm glad you enjoy them!

Check this out, be prepared, it could make many of you SICK, but be patient, and watch the entire video - the guy is awesome:

The subject of Jeff Suggs has been discussed at length on various forums. Personally I would like to see one of his cars up close to judge the results.

I haven't watched the video yet (I will) but my initial observation is, why is he leaning so far across the hood? Walk around to the other side silly.

Edit: OK I watched it. Please tell me what is so funny. Was it the razor blade?

Gary, what a beast! Very nicely done! I heard Power finish, what was the application method, polisher/pad?

:yourrock

Thanks!

Yes, we were laughing at the whole razor blade situation.

I used the PCXP and orange 5.5" Buff and Shine pads with the Power Finish. Thats my "go to" true 1 step combo... That is until my polishes are done...
