:) Hey guys.

This seems to be the most tedious part of detailing( )

cleaning the glass(esp. the interior windshield) w/o leaving streaks everywhere!

Currently, I'm using Armor All Glass Cleaner, but not really impressed-still leaves streaks, even w/MF drying.

I heard that using water-based foam cleaners are better than the oil-based normal sprays.

Does anyone know how to keep that annoying:mad: interior

film off or any tips on not getting streaks?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

DO a search for windows I am sure a few good threads will appear.

Some people use Eagle one 20/20 cleaner and others use Stoners Invisible glass.

I spray window than scrub with a MF than buff with a clean dry surgical green cotton towel. buff up and down on outside and side to side inside to see where the streaks are.

Hi:

I use EO 20/20 - highly recommended in Autopia.:up It gets that new-car-smell-condensed-smear off the windows and rear view mirror REALLY well (and the cost is right). :D You can also do a search in the 'Product Reviews' forum for some product hints.

Hi,

When I clean my windows I use spray away glass cleaner with a MF. I just remeber to use one side of the towel when I first wipe it down then flip it over to the dry side for a second pass. This usuallykeeps them streak free. I wash my often so it may be harder if your windows aren't cleaned as often.

When I really want to get them clean, I clean them a second time with srpay away glass cleaner and newspaper.

I like to use a good non-linting microfiber towel and my own glass cleaner. For the cleaner I use 25% Denatured Alcohol, 25% White Vinegar, and 50% Water. Works well for me. :up

2006 Bentley GT Restorative Correction by Richie's Custom Detailing

My client recently acquired this 2006 Bentley GT and wanted it dialed in to perfection.

The car came in with the stock wheels as a set of HREs were on order.

It was originally a Chicago car and it showed by the amount of bonded contaminants present on the finish.

As it was dropped off.

The lower grilles were shot so replacements were ordered.

Hood defects.

Looks like the old rocks in a bottle compound was used here.

You soooo upgraded your "photoshop" to the "Holy Crap Mac Daddy Swirl Hider" Edition...

Some ridiculously fine work Richie, some of your best ever? Yes sir!

Beautiful job on that GT Richie. That gorgeous car was trashed and you did an amazing job of restoring all of her beauty.

The HREs make it look sooooo much hotter.
