I'm finally back to show off my other vehicle. You guys got a peak at my wife's A4 in this thread: Wife's 2006 Audi A4

I think the results were excellent. So now it's time for the truck...

This is the second Zaino session for this truck. It got Z1,Z5 & 2 layers of Z2 back in August. Here is my process this go round:

Wash truck with CG Citrus wash

thin layer of Z5 let dry for 1 hour & buff

ayer of Z5 -let dry for 1 hour & buff

layer of Z2 -let dry for 3 hours & buff

layer of Z2 -let dry for 24 hours & buff

Here are the shots:

You gotta love the metallic flake that Toyota puts in this color (Phantom Gray Pearl)!

Yep, another Autopia member (P1et) and I live right behind the "Shining Moon Saloon" off Cahill & Pondsprings.

Whooh look at that flake pop! Nice work! Did you do all of those layers in one sitting?

This was my second application of Zaino layers on the truck. The first layering process made it look nice, but this second series of layers made the truck look incredible. I did these layers just as follows -all over the course of last weekend.

Wash truck with CG Citrus wash

thin layer of Z5 let dry for 1 hour & buff

layer of Z5 -let dry for 1 hour & buff

layer of Z2 -let dry for 3 hours & buff

layer of Z2 -let dry for 24 hours & buff

Thanks to all who recognize the metallic pop! The pictures really don't do the paint justice -the amount of flake is just sick! I think the layering of the Zaino really brought this out. Maybe I can get some better photos later today...

I have the same color tundra, and I have to say it, I wished it were black sometimes. The color looks washed out without the sun.

Even though, great job on the detail.

Cody, hadn't gotten a chance yet to comment on this one, phenomenal work as usual! I see the truck every day and I must say that you're right, the second application of Zaino really made a big difference!
