I was contacted by a forum member recently to do this detail. Was only in need of a One-step polish, light interior cleaning, and some engine cleaning as well.

And this is the first time I've ever washed a car in my own garage. This was no ONR either. I'm talkin hose and bucket. Thank goodness for a shopvac.

Starting with the motor. Just the usual leaves in crevices, dirt and grime build up, dust on carbon fiber.

Process- Vacuum leaves w/Shopvac

Dawn wash and damp MF

Dressing applied to plastics

Wiper cowel needed a bit of attention, so I applied dressing there too.

Interior had quite a bit of staining on the seats which was easily removed by a damp MF and H2O/Woolite solution. Stubborn stains removed by a magic eraser.

Leather seats and rest of the interior were dressed in Megs. Gold Class.

Thanks for looking.

Great job! If you're ever down in SF and up for a job down here, let me know. Otherwise, I might take a trek up to Sacto since I haven't been there in a while.

Looks good. Those headlight lenses look like they could use a good polishing, too. Might wanna sell him on that the next time around.

Hey John (Johnhk79) when you have some free time, come by the house and we'll have a go with them headlights. And maybe a couple beers afterward. You can also get your floormats also. They are just sitting in my garage.
