If anyone finds one of these, PLEASE take some pics of it and post them for me.
I really have to hand it to the H-D design team for this year, they did one heck of a job. I don't know how many of you have seen one of these in person yet but, oh my goodness, you are in for a treat. They did away with all the tacky stuff and gone more toward the *custom* look, which is what I like. It comes stock with 20" wheels, blacked out front end, chrome tow hooks, one of a kind interior, you name it, it's got it.
I was at a local BMW dealership the other day helping my mother shop for her new car, (which I pick up Tues. next week by the way) and I saw this monster of a truck just sitting there all pretty. At first, I thought it was a customized Lariat but then I got closer and recognized the big Harley badge on the sides. As if the outside wasn't enough of a treat, I peeked in the window and the dash looked like it was trimmed in carbon fiber but after looking at it even closer I realized I wasn't looking at cf, but thousands of tiny H-D shields made to look like cf. The interior is all black premium grade leather, and has satin nickel appointments.
Here's a link to Ford's website but it really does a poor job of showing off the truck because it looks 100% better in person.
After following the link, click on Models and then again on Harley-Davidson to see it: http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/superduty/
As some of you know, I used to have a 2003 F250 and had nothing but trouble with the new 6.0 liter PSD. I made the mistake of being the very first person to order one in my area, and ended up with ALL the defects. After 8 months of owning it, Ford gave me a full refund for the truck and all the accessories I added to it (yes, Ford customer service is :up), and that's how I ended up with my 2004 Expedition. Ever since they bought my truck back, I knew I would get another one. It was just a matter of time before they came out with something that caught my eye, and two years worth of production later, they have finally worked 99% of the bugs out of the new engine design.
Well, all I have to do now is sell my Expedition and I'll be posting some awesome pics of a freshly detailed H-D F250 4x4!!
Again, if anyone details one or knows someone with one, please take some detailed pics and either post them here or email me with them. Other than that one truck I saw for a very brief moment, I can't find a single other one to look at.
