Alright here is an 05 525 that received a couple bad dealer washes the owner wanted me to take care of. Owner is definitely an Autopian and keeps the car + wheels/wells very clean! Owner emailed me the pictures...Very fine looking automobile.

Process:

Wash with Gold Class

Clay with Hi-tech body sponge

Menzerna SIP via LC Yellow 1800 RPM

Menzerna 106FF via LC White 1500 RPM

Optimum Opti-Seal by hand

Beautiful detail! :bow Now that is how black should look. Excellent work.

How much dusting do you get with 106?

Do you have to rewash the car after polishing?

Excellent work Andrew! Love those side shots.

How do you like the SIP and 106 so far?

I like them both. Both work as expected which is very very good.

Thoughts on the Opti-Seal?

I'm a fan of Opti-Seal. :)

Dusting wasn't a huge problem but it did dust. To get the oils off I always rewash.

Looks good! I love black bmw's. Sure it's not an '06?

Pretty sure...because that's what the owner told me.

Thanks guys

Awesome work! That's the exact color I wanted for my new 335 coupe but having heard some of the seasoned pro's having correction problems with the new 3 series Jet Black I decided on Black Sapphire (metallic).

Andrew - that is absolutely stunning and black like that looks like a mirror.

Toto - have you worked on any E92 Jet Blacks yet?
