When this car arrived, it was loaded with industrial fallout, the owner works near some sort of factory that left these horrible white dots all over the paint! It looked like dust almost, but it did not wipe off, it took a very long time to clay all of it out. I even had to clay the **** out of the front windshield, it was so loaded with this fallout, his wipers must work so much better now that it is gone.

Anyway, I could not take a side by side in my garage, even with my DSLR I could not get a decent shot, I guess the halogen I use to find swirls was messing with it, I dunno.

These are the afters, the owner had to take them because I delivered the car at about 9:00 pm so there was no sun to take proper pics, I started at 8:00 am.

I got about 95% of the swirls out, and paid some special attention to some deeper scratches from people, and from things scraping against the side of the car. But I did not want to be ridiculously aggressive considering the car had some deep swirls as well as many light swirls.

The polishing was all done by rotary, using edge2000 wave (dont wanna burn that soft honda/acura clear and it seems the waves reduce heat), which by the way, I LOVE the fact that the pads are perfectly centered, makes life much easier.

I know there are some missing angles, but I did not take the pics.

I used a 50/50 mix of PUCC and OP and then finished with 70/30 mix of OP and a secret additive of mine ;)

I really like OP if you can't tell... Lots of lubrication, zero dusting, amazing polish for the rotary but maybe not so much on the PC.

It was topped off with victoria concours wax. Some parts that were too small for the rotary got victoria deep cleanse. I also did the full doorjamb treatment, and I polished and sealed the stainless steel acura door sills.

Interior got the tornador treatment, so naturally it was cleaner than the day he got it. That tornador, its really amazing...

Carpets were all extracted via my 3 gallon sandia extractor (105 inches of waterlift!).

Alright scottwax, you know that I trust your opinion more than pretty much anyone else on here most of the time, so since this is my first time actually making my own click and brag, what do you think of the car?

I know the pics are not the best angles, but I did not take them so I have to work with it.

Great job Ron, you do great work. I hope to one day replicate your skill level so I no longer had to photoshop my own work. Maybe some day :(
