Well this was the first Hummer that I've detailed, and I've gotta say, I really don't plan on taking on another one anytime soon!!! This thing was a freaking BEAST, so many weird angles for such a boxy car  lol..

Anyways, sorry for no before pics, the car was in ok shape, it had very little marring, but it has been kept outside, and needed a clay on the horizontal surfaces...The wheels were pretty much ruined, but I did what I could with them, and a lot of bug etching was apparent in the front end...

Exterior:

NXT Wash

Pinnacle's Poly Ultra Clay (tired of this clay, its weak!!!)

Simple Green 4:1, wells, and engine

AA Tire Foam, wells, engine

Trim is wearing Meg's HD 2:1

Poli Seal via white LC pad

Opti Seal on paint, wheels, glass, and chrome

Interior:

Vacuum

Mats were shampooed with Meg's APC 4:1

Meg's APC 10:1 interior wipedown

Meg's HD 2:1 all vinyl/rubber

Full correction wasn't on the agenda, just a good wash, wax, and interior cleaning...I charged $200 for this job, and it took me 8 hours, I'm whooped!

Oh and btw, Opti Seal looks amazing on yellow, I was very impressed, it added noticeable slickness, and gloss on top of Poliseal, and its so nice not having to come back around and wipe everything off!!! :dance

Very nice and wet for yellow paint. I'm glad I haven't had to do a Hummer yet, they look like a royal PITA. Paint looks great, and excellent attention to detail!

Gorgeous job and yes the OptiSeal looks fantastic on the yellow. I'm still running some tests but I think the OptiSeal may be very durable on the black trim. Of course I think you have to start with a clean surface free from protectants.

Wow, what a job you did on the hummer. The shine is awesome and i bet you was a very tired person after that work out , Great job!!!

I'm definately sore!!! That was a ton of work and it was extremely hot out today :doh

Looks great for H2 paint. I have a test going on a H2 and the plastic trim. Did 1/2 of the truck with OS the other nothing. It's keeping a very neutral look.

For a small fee and the plane ticket I will fly out and fix the nasty ding in the drivers door. lol

Good grief man I hate those H2's...well anything bigger than a Porsche I hate......but anyways, that's a great looking H2 and you did a great job on it, very nice:goodjob

Excellent job on that H2, I've done enough of them to know just how hard you worked to get it looking as great as you did. :up

I've tried OS on yellow too, worked out equally as nice.

hmm the opti seal really does bring a nice shine to the finish. great job. and 8 hours just on a wash wax and interior, whew thats a workout.
