2004 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum Edition

Up for play today was an '04 black Pathfinder. I have been working with the owner and his friend for a month or so now and he called this week with this:

"Sean, my car won't be available this Sunday, can you do my wifes? Hahaha, it's a wreck."

He wasn't kidding. He also wasn't looking for perfection, but I had my goal set at the 90th percentile or better.

Interior had general levels of filth, but the exterior (outdoor car) was tarnished by swirls, heavy fallout, dullness, and R.I.D.S. The pictures will speak for themselves.

Interior

-Oxiclean and steam for carpets and mats

-Steam cleaned all leather vinyl, rubber, and plastic

-Stoner's Invisible Glass on glass and gauges

-Jams degreased with Zaino Z7, then Z8 when car was completed

-Zaino Z10 on leather, vinyl, rubber and plastic

-Zaino Z8 on "wood"

Exterior

-Zaino Z18 Clay with Z7 wash as lube

-TOL Tire Cleaner cut 50/50 for tires and wells

-P21s Wheel Cleaner on wheels

-Menzerna SIP @ 1500 on LC CCS Green Pad

-Menzerna PO85RD @ 1500 on LC CCS Black Pad

-Zaino Z5 Pro (ZFX'd) on paint, glass, wheels

-Zaino Z16 x 2 on tires

Debadged her yesterday...

Thanks everyone.

Bigpoppa: Not yet. It was detailed before I started working with the customer and the protection is still holding up well. Some day :).

dtail: Thanks :). I certainly try.

rydawg: It's an eye-opening product. I actually shot "Spoiled Man" a text while working yesterday praising how much I liked it. It removed 80% of the defects with minimal mess. Working time is very good, dust is low, cut is just right. I hate that it's a touch oily, but oh well...nothing is perfect.

Great work as always Sean. I see you upgraded your camera??? Went with SLR???

How do you like it compared to your old Cybershot. I am getting ready to try the Sony A630.

I had no idea you were using it at the time.:D I was in the bed S I C K ! ! It's a wonderful polish that seems to remove a step most times. Your car is so wet is looks fake.:grinno:

Auto Makeover: Rather soft, actually.

I find 06+ Infiniti paint to be reasonably hard, but no where near Audi or MB.

xfire: Just sent a G35 your way from Wappingers Falls, NY.
