2004 Honda Civic Si (first time PC user)

My first attempt with a PC. Purchased the car new 1/05, began using the proper wash technique 5/05. So the car had some swirling, most noticable under direct light.



I apoligize in advance for the picture quality, as I do not have an SLR digital. The metal flake in the paint (vivid blue pearl) really "pops" but I wasn't able to capture it.



Process:



Wash with Meguiars Deep Crystal Wash

Clay with Opticlay

SSR 2.5 with LC white polishing pad

SSR 1 with LC black finishing pad

Wolfgang Sealant (I plan on adding another layer of WG then topping with Natty's)



AIO on glass and trim

PB Bold N Bright on tires

Mothers Mag polish on exhaust tips

Wolfgang Sealant on wheels.



In hindsight I probably should have used the orange light cutting pad with the SSR 2.5, as I still have a few swirls (visible only under really harsh light).

You're from Ephatch aren't you? Nice job on the paint. i just got done claying mine. OMG it was a pain in the ***. I used SSR's last time polishing. I think I'm going to give Wolfgang's Total Swirl Remover a whirl and just top with some s100. Nice EP3
