2004 Acura TL wash, seal, and wax.

A member on here contacted me about his TL. Great car, taken care of very well (well it's been washed but luckily there wasn't any heavy swirl marks. It was hard to make a silver car shine, but the sealant did the perfect job.

Products Used:

Zymol Wash

Megs 26 (PC speed 3 megs finishing pad)

Hi-Temp Best One-Step Sealant (PC speed 6 white LC 6.5")

Megs Hot Shine (i'm thinking about switching to armoral foam)

Mothers Clay Bar

Review of the product HT-69:

It's not as creamy as people say it should be, compared to poly seal and such. It actually has a consistancy of ... OP. It does sheet afterwards so the protection is there. I liked it, very economical, and i think it's a great addition to the options people can have. I wonder if i should finish with this product instead of OP though.

Ah Scott, you got a new picture! way to go. I see you're loving the cyclo. What can I do to improve my pictures? This picture was taken on a low F-stop and on vivid setting.

nice work sam. i see you put that hi temp product to the test. all your after shots were money man. f'ing money.

haha, yeah i'd be rich if i could sell those money shots. I was surprised how great this product worked. I thought it would be more liquidity since Scott said the OPS just dissolves into the paint/pads. This one actually held up pretty well. I had to take more time to work it in compared to OPS (never used it but that's what i'm guessing) but I didn't have to worry about it breaking down. It probably removed around 70% of the swirls; there were some left, but I think if i used a rotary it would have been better.

Interesting Observation:

The owner of the car thought the car had a purplish tint after the car was done. It wasn't there before, he was surprised and so was I. Somehow it changed the reflection of the light. You can actually see it in the picture.
