Well, at least this time the guy had the decency to rinse the mud off. Its a 2003 Sonoma ZR1, and in black, well gray if you didn' tknow what swirls did to the paint. Ugh, paint paint condition to say the least.

Processes:

SSR 3 with wool pad on rotary to remove some bad scratches on bed

SSR 2 on rotary and light cutting pad same area

SSR2.5 on cutting pad via PC

SSR2 on cutting pad via PC

NXT topped with S100

Wheel wells were scrubbed in the rear and sealed with NXT, in the front they were lathered in Armor All.

Engine bay was wiped down.

Here are the befores:

(The engine bay done for free, so I didn't scrub much of anything)

Thanks for looking folks! :)

Man Scuba, you do some great work. I like those trucks. How do you get so fortunate to get all these awesome swirl mark jobs? Nice work!

How do I get so fortunate is unknown to me. Aren't I lucky. :hairpull

Thanks for the compliment bud.

Nice work Steve!

SSR3 on the wool pad and rotary is a bold move. Any problem with the paint thinning out?

Nope, only went over it for one pass to get rid of the crap on top. The polish didn't even break down I made it soo quick.

Wow, great transformation. One question though- are you getting ready for Christmas? LOL

Thats not my house, my driveway has a 17' boat and camper on it, so it doesn't make for all that nice a' reflections. Thats my idiot neighbour that is too scared to go on a ladder.

And I spend about 5 hours on the truck.

another awesome detail stevo :bigups

i see that you really like PB's SSR's, i have used the 2.5 with an orange sonus pad and just recently used a yellow cma pad, via the pc. somehow i think you have been getting better results when you use your pc.

like i can remember that black camaro you did, the half and half shots of the rear bumper were simply amazing, i guess i have been trying th see those types of results :hm
