2003 Porsche 996 Turbo (Midnight Blue) Correction

I apologize for the poor quality, I dunno if the problem is my $900+ JVC CyberCam or the software which receives the pictures from the camera. Quality on a TV is excellent though the pictures interpreted to a computer are pixelated...

I plan to take more with a real camera soon enough.

Sweet lookin' ride wm whatcha using on it? What year is it? What kinda engine does she have? I'll bet it's a lot of fun to drive.

great pics. i had a 94' 3000gt, red. it was a lot of fun. every time my wife and i see one we say "man we should of never sold that car" :D

Its a '92 Mitsubishi 3000gt sl protected by Zaino. Just did the full Zaino treatment (z7, clay, z7, z2 w/zfx, z5 w/zfx and finally z6) less than a week ago... Considered putting on a couple more coats but it looked too damn good...

Engine is merely a 3.0L, v6 though its tuned to 222 hp. It can take out the v6 versions of the Camaro and Mustang if you know how to drive well and gives a good fight w/ the V8s. There is also a twin turbo version (VR-4) that I didn't opt for that kicks out ~320 horses with all-wheel drive. With just a few modifications it has little problem fighting off Corvettes and Firebirds.

Just recently completed(with assitance from the "BING") this car had some re-sprayed panels and the problems that come with that(sand scratches & tracers) along with U.V. damaged and dried out trim.
After a thorough wash/clay etc.... I started with the decklid first as this part of the car is tight confines and I wanted to "Work downhill" after the correction on this part of the car.

First 50/50's.

Great work once again Bob. Your attention to detail is second to none!!!

If you don't mind me asking, what is the process to remove the badges?

Did not remove the "Turbo badge" on the rear decklid, and the crest on the trunklid is just a 8MM extended socket(however if the nut droppes into the gap of the trunklid........ask me how I know lol you will be "fishing" for the nut a good long time while cursing under your breath).

With quickness and tightness you and Richy tamed that Porsche. Always look forward to your writeups Bob

I can see myself cursing as I drop the nut.:cursing::cursing::cursing:
Thanks for the response Bob.

Barry - that's why they make the extended grabber fingers and telescoping magnets to aide in hide and seek

You did an excellent job on the P car as I expected from you. I open your posts eagarly. I only wish you would share your choice of products and processes.

You work is awesome.
