Saturday morning Ray and his wife brought over their Titantium silver M3 convertible for a detail. Ray had recently treated the top with Raggtop so I just spot cleaned some bird bombs on it. The main issues were some RIDS and a few ice removal scratches. I also detailed the engine but it was not too bad to begin with some no pictures. Thanks again Ray. :wavey

Process

QEW wash

Clay magic clay with Megs quik detailer as lube

EC/OP with a yellow LC pad 1500-1700

OP with a white LC pad 1200

FK2180 to seal

Aquapel on the windshield

Tires and fenders - Megs Nxt tech protectant

Exhaust tips - Mothers aluminum polish

Engine - steam and APC to clean, 303 to protect

Not many pictures but you can see the difference.

Thanks Bryan! The pics are not the greatest but there was no sun when I was done.

ConglomrationAL So do I! My fingers are not small enough to get in between the spokes and a paint brush doesn't work that well.

Excellent job! :)

I too, hate those particular wheels with a passion. The idiot who designed them and the idiot who approved their use on a car notorious for brake dust should have to travel to every person who has those wheels and clean them each week. /rant

Thanks Scott. Do you think we can we get a petition going for that? :har: :D

Kevin, John, and Atticdog: Thanks for the compliments.

Hey guys,

Ray here..John worked on my car and did a fantastic job.

I can see why you hate those OEM wheels...they're a tough job for me when I wash the car, and I'm no pro.

I'm getting a set of new wheels for summer tires, and leaving the OEM's on the winter rubber...you can see they're a little scuffed anyway.

Hey Ray. Thanks again for you business!

I am in the process of getting some links for you. You will have a PM shortly.

Edit, PM sent. Ray for between the spokes and the lugs I use a paint brush. I duct tape the metal part to prevent marring the wheels. I use a MF to clean the rest of the face and a brush to get the insides.

Nice work making that silver pop! those rims are a pain though. I have a pretty good rim cleaner though that pretty much cleans spray on spray off(pro wheel brightener)

Thanks Thomas.

Thanks CJ99si,

I usually use Megs WB, but I don't like using wheel cleaners when using ONR. NExt time I might just have to do it though. How much is the pro wheel brightener?

I buy it local, for a 5 gallon container its $65. It makes the inside of the rims look like you took them off and scrubbed them though W/O even touching them.
