So I have my friend in town visiting and while he was here I decided to give his car just a simple quick wash. Need desperately to be waxed and buffed. I'm gonna do that tomorrow! :chuckle: Anyway, here's a few pictures..

Its ok for a badass supercar I guess.... if your into that kind of thing. :D

Great work!! I'm afraid if someone left that in my care, I would high tail it to mexico... but then again, I'm closer to the border than you are, so I guess thats not an option in your case.

Nice Car but I can't see where people knock the Vette's interior when the inside of this thing looks like it was built in a shed with spare parts from other cars. :nixweiss

Haha, it's actually a LOT nicer when you get you in it!

It may be, but to me it looks cheap and ugly. The rest of the car is so bad *** the interior is such a let down.

That's because you haven't seen the LP640's interior :chuckle:

you're comparing a leather and velour covered interior to GM's cheap *** plastic?

Have you ever actually sat in a Lambo? The interior materials are top notch, you'd have to get something from Caravagio or Callaway to have equal quality materials in the vette.

I would have to agree. I've sat in several of my fathers "dirty oil" friends exotics, and Lamborghini is top notch. I think they sometimes go for a bit of a wild look, but the quality and materials are all perfectly done. A plane trip away from a vette.

Gotta agree with a previous poster that the interior sucks. For that kind of money, the inside better be as inspired as the outside...that's where the driver spends his time anyway.

The radio is very "after market dash kit", the climate control unit looks like it came out of a Saturn, the gauges are boring, the steering wheel is absolutely plain, and the vents look like they were boosted from a Pontiac G6. Make all the excuses you'd like, but I shouldn't be able to poke that many holes in the interior of this car after a 10 second glance.

This is one of those cars that I'd want to like so badly, but would sit in it, get that sinking feeling in my stomach, and say "really??".

I was very fortunate a few years back to be very close to one of those cars, it was an amazing sight. Beautiful car, but given the choice (even with having Audi's guidance now) I think I'd still take one of those cars with the prancing horse on the front instead.

Glad I am not the only one that thought the interior looks cheap, but a second look tells me it's mainly the steering wheel, radio and climate controls that look like something cheap from the 80s. The rest might look quite nice in person. But I guess the driving experience makes you forget about the interior :)
