For those of you who frequent the C&B you may remember this truck from last summer. I haven't been doing much detailing this summer due to lack of customers. Then, out of the blue, the owner of this truck calls me and says that he is going on vacation the next day and could I pick up the truck? Well, sure. It aws not as bad as last year, but it had seen a few too many automatic car washes for my taste. Anyway, I yet again revived it.

Process:

Wheels

--------

Brake Off (by Malco)

Meg's Aerosol Tire shine

Body

------

Dawn Wash

Griot's clay

OHC (as needed)

OP

S100

Interior

---------

Vacuum

Wipe down with a damp cloth

Damn hoss, that truck was trashed and you brung it to like new.

I gotta say tho, I definaly would not have chosen S100 for that truck. Seeing how bad it was, S100 wouldnt last an hour on the surface of that P.O.S

Great turnaround on the Ford, i would use a sealant then maybe 2 coat's of wax and hope it makes it till next time you get a hold of it.

Yeah, the owner is a top level manager at a well known paper products company. He has plenty of $$ so he's not fretting over the finish, he just wants it nicely every once and a while.

It won't.... I just know that. I zaino'd it last year and look how well that held up.

Thanks for the positive comments!

It really looks great now but since you took a close pic of the wheels I noticed it was dirty inside the spokes. I know how hard it is to clean without taking the wheels off, not trying to be an *** here :)

No offense taken. Inside the spokes had a painted finish while the face of the wheel had a milled/polished finish. If you are talking about inside the rim (on the under car side) sime of the finish was coming off, so I did the best I could.
