Okay guys here it is.....

This car had not been waxed since it left the showroom floor in 2003. It still has flaws, but I'll get them the next time I work on it.

Hand wash
Woolite Clay (no heckling from the audience needed)
Presta 2000 Polish
White Diamond glaze
Wolfgang Sealant (2)
Liquid Souveran (1)

There's still a few very deep water spots on it. I couldn't get them off :wall I'm afraid to compound it in case the paint is thin.

The car only has 60K miles on it. The interior is absolutely prestine (black leather).

You might can try a vinegar and water soaked rag. Let it sit on the spots and see if it does anything. If they've been there a while though, you may just have to live with them. You could try some wetsanding, but I wouldn't get too aggressive.

Well don't everyone jump in all at once and help me with the water spots!

Helps to ask!

after you clay..a good paint cleaner would be my process...PB PP is the one I use...I talked to Steve not long back about hard to remove water spots...have a car coming up that I plan on using his suggestion..of S&R and water...I will let him explain a bit more on this dilution and process...sounds like it will do the trick IMO...its a low amount of acid that neutralizes the water spots

Did you polish by hand or machine, if by machine what type of pads did you use.
I am not familiar w/ the Presta line so IDK how aggressive the 2000 is.

Any pics of the area with the water spots?

JAY

He had a thread about this 2000 I use the Presta line...its a light cut compound that he used, designed for machine only...not really a PC friendly one either, requires heat...not saying that with some practice that you couldn't use the PC and get the results
