2003/2004 Sonic Blue Cobra by ZAXJAX

DonkeyTuna dropped off his Sonic Blue Cobra to detail before he sells. The original plan was to spruce it up to look good. After a good wash, I couldn't just spruce it up. It was previously detailed I assume judging by the buffer trails on the whole car. Plans changed after seeing that, and I couldn't give Mike his car back looking like ***.



Wash with foam gun and Chemical Guys Citrus Gloss Wash



Meguiar's Clay



Rotary and PFW with Menzerna Power Finish



Rotary and white pad with 106FF



PC with 106FF on a blue pad



Collinite 845 by hand for winter protection



M105 for the exhaust tips



Stoner's on the windows



Klasse AIO on all black trim and dressed with Hyper Dressing



Simple Green on the tires and wheels / dressed with Hyper Dressing



Engine bay detailed with Simple Green and various brushes / dressed with Hyper Dressing

Is the supercharger a factory install, or aftermarket. That Cobra must really move!

2003 Corbras were all supercharged (think range rover sport and jag xkr motor) 390 horse before simple simple upgrades put you over 400whp easy.

That is a factory supercharger that is ported by Steigmeir and it has a smalley pulley. He's making over 500hp with it.

to clear the air, it's a 2003, unless its a respray. 2003 was sonic blue and 2004 was mystic chrome. zax knows that though, since IIRC he has a 04 mystic

Sonic blue is the sexiest color. Mystichrome wasn't a replacement for sonic blue... Just a special edition I guess, with the same color leather inserts.



and 500whp, what are his supporting mods? Which stage porting was done? pulley size?

Mystichrome is a special paint code only offered in 04 and the seat inserts are also Mystichrome.



Over 500hp, with a 2.76 pulley Stage 4 port by Steigmeir, fuel uprades, exhaust, boost-a-pump and more importantly an dyno tune, not mail order tune!
