Spent probably about 10 hours on this one.
Wash: P21S TAW to pre-wash, followed by DP 4in1.
Solvent: Auto Valet Super Sol, used to remove tar from lower panels.
Clay: Riccardo /w DP 4-1 as lubricant
Machine Polish: Tried out SIP/OC mixed 70/30 on a 4 inch yellow Edge2k.
Hand Polish: 1Z Extra Paint Cleaner for hand portions.
IPA Wipedown
Wax: Collonite 476
Trim: Mirrors got plast-x, followed by Ultima Trim, everything else just got the UT.
Wheels: Sonus Rim Bright. Liked this stuff quite a bit.
Tires: Cleaned with SRB, dressed wtih Poorboys B n B.
Wells: Armour All
Glass: Stoners IG
The car has a few nicks and dents, some good scratches, etc. I did a few portions by hand, just because of the chips and that, didn't wanna agitate any of them. Bumpers done by hand as well, didn't wanna play around with the machine lots in some of the tight spots.
Turns out SIP can cut pretty darn good. First time using it, and wasn't too happy with the dust so I mixed some OC (thought I read that on here before) and it seemed to help, same with working smaller areas.
Nice and dirty.
Marring wasn't brutal, but it was enough to make a difference.
Clay got a bit o' stuff off.
Some parts actually came out pretty good.
A bad shot (messed up wb I believe) of a 50/50 but you get the idea.
Couldn't quite get rid of the bra marks.
Done and ready to return home.
Thanks for looking.
