So I detailed it for the first time this weekend. The dealer detailed it for me and actually did a nice job, although they filled rahter than eliminated the swirls. The car was recently detailed and smooth so I didnt clay. Process:

NXT wash

A to Z on wheels, tires, wells

Menzerna IP speed 5.5 by PC and white polishing pad

NXT wash

Sovereign paste by hand

Meguiars Endurance gel on tires (purple stuff)

Invisible glass on wondows

Swiffer duster on interior (wasnt dirty, just a tiny bit of dust from driving with the top down)

Man am I impressed with Sovereign!!!!! I didnt believe all the hype but wanted to try it and Im glad I did! The paint looked great after the IP and I really didnt expect the rich, deep shine I got after toping with Sovereign, this stuff is great and so slick too. Worth the $$ IMO.

Cool man I missed the thread about you buying the M3 but congrats and good luck with it :wavey

Very nice detail for just IP/Souveran. I'd have to agree with the others, that 2nd shot is incredible

Looks like you got your neighbors across the street jealous, I see them washing their car too :D

I only see one bucket there though :doh

I dont think 19's would be a good idea on Michigan roads! Thanks for all the compliments! I still need to find a good mild polish, would the Menzerna PO85 stuff be a good idea, or maybe the SSR's?
