What a day yesterday was. Started off clear as day, not a cloud in sight. By the time I was half done the car, it was raining cats and dogs with thunder/lightening every 2 seconds. Ended up having to close the garage because a sheet of rain came into the garage and just drenched the car.

So, I couldn't concore this sucker. Rotary pulled most of the off, but I coudln't get it all out. Oh well, looks good to me.

Process:

ssr 3 VIA rotary (christ did this ever gum up my pads quick, I used 8!)

SSR 2.5 via PC and cutting pad

SSR 2.5 via PC polishing pad

SSR 2 via PC polsihing pad

SSR 1 via PC via finishing pad

Souverean

Rims and tires got the usual.

Here are the pictures:

SUN! Pictures were taken after SSR 2.5 and cutting pad, so it got better after that. The minor rotary swirls or those looking things went away after SSR 2.5 and polishing pad. Glass also wasn't cleaned yet. I saw those clouds coming! :bolt

Dang son I hope you dried the car before the owner picked it up! That thing is WET!

:goodjob

Damn Steve, you got that rotary and now you're going to town. The car looks pretty great in those sun shots for right after ssr 2.5. Big thumbsup. Owner was psyched?

Thanks everyone. I too was surprised with the outcome after only polishing. It really did look so much wetter after souverean.

What's all been done to the Grand Prix? What rims did he have on it? Sucks that they were stolen. I love the Navy Blue Grand Prix's. I almost bought a 2000 GTP Coupe, but settled for the sedan instead.
