I had a customer of mine refer me to this cars owner, and i was told "this car is not that bad." Words we hear all the time. When I saw it in person i :tape: but did say it all wouldnt come out. Method:

Washed/Foamed with CG CWG, wheels with Valugard Custom wheel cleaner

I wanted to cut quickly so I started with Megs So1o Maroon wool plus 105 on the rotary.

Followed by Megs Microfiber + m105/d300

Followed by LC Tangerine + m205

Topped with Blackfire Wet Diamond and Zaino z8

Nice save! :bigups

I don't know what some people are thinking when they wash cars with things like this but I just did a C5 a couple weeks ago that had the same thing done to it.

Looks great. Did you mix 105 and 300 or use them independently of each other?

Ooooh yea, you need to post some of those pics. I can't believe someone thought that was a good idea.

I used 2 drops of 105 and 2 drops of d300 on the same pad. Ive noticed some more cut with this combo.

Does this really work? Is this to save time? It seems illogical to mix two different grits. Won't the rougher cut always be the one to do the work and 'override' the finer grit. Thanks

Not a bad question, and its not really to save time. It helps keep 105 "liquid" and easy to remove. Ive had even the new formula of 105 be like concrete to remove, but adding the d300 makes it stay removable. Also instead of doing maybe 2 and 2, ill do 3 drops of 105 and 1 drop of d300.

Its worked for me, but again different strokes for different folks.

M105 by itself can dust(As we all know...lol) and get sticky on some paints, so the combo works well for cuttting ability and the nice thing about D300 is how easy it wipes off after each pass so you can see the correction level you are getting. The mixing of the two just "Works" and I did this when I recieved my first 32oz bottles from Meguiars last year before SEMA to play around with all the combos of pads and speeds using the "DA System" and found out "Voila" it works.

Damn fine work my friend. That looks like a brand new car. The interior is stunning. I really need to get an extractor so that I can put in my carpet floor mats. Right now I only use monster mats because they're easy to clean but I hate the look of them. My carpet mats have never been in the car!
