Hey gang...

This is my moms 2002 Pontiac Aztek...they are about the funniest looking things ever, but she loves it, and I gotta tell you, its about the EASIEST car to detail EVER! Flat panels and lots of vinyl. I did it as a bday present for her...it took me and my buddy about 3 hours total, inside and out.

I forgot my PC at my house, so all work was done by hand.

Process (exterior)

Wheels and wheel wells with Lanes Wheel Cleaner and OXO Brush.

Stoners Trim Shine prior to wash, on all vinyl.

Washed with Wizards Wash and dried with water blade and Absorber

AIO 1x

American Shine Carnauba Wax 1x

Tires by Black Magic (not quite dry in a couple pics)

Vinyl again with Wizards Black Renew.

Instant Detailed with Race Glaze Gloss Highlighter.

Done and Done.

Wow! The first thing that stuck out to me (ironically, I guess) was how great the trim looked.

Did it soak up a whole lot of dressing to do just the trim?

btw, your mom didn't happen to get the cmaper package did she? ;)

Yeah, the trim was a little thirsty...at first we thought it would be good enough with just the Trim Shine (probably 1/3-1/2 of the can worth) but then, to even things out, we did Black Renew (which is like Mothers Back to Black) which was a nice touch.

Nope, no camper package. She did mention getting that little fidge that goes in the center console tho... :D
