What do I need to know about the paint of this car? I went home over the holidays and my mom's black Beemer is in horrible condition. Big swirls and lots of water spotting.



Orange LC pad and OC going to be enough?
 
IMO the pre-bangle BMW black paint is harder than their newer black. OC and orange may be enough, but even for the new BMW paint I had to step it up to OHC and orange to get full correction.
 
Big swirls and lots of waterspots... let me guess... washed by the dealer frequently?
 
I think BMW NA must hand out nylon brushes for them to use to wash the car. A friend's has been swirled up twice by the dealer. Take a look at all the new BMW's on the road, they ALL have huge brush stroke type swirls.
