I owed my friend Chris a detail for a long time, and his car definitely needed it. Lots of fine swirls, baked on brake dust, etc etc

Process:

-Wash w/Meguiars Gold Class

-Cleaned wheels and tires with Poorboy's Spray & Rinse Wheel Cleaner, Poorboy's Bold 'N Bright on tires

-Spot clayed some areas with Wolfgang Elastic Poly Clay, but it didn't really need it since he clayed it recently

-Compounded some problem areas w/1Z Intensive Paste + 4" LC cutting pad via Porter Cable 7424

-Polished the entire car with Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 w/LC light cutting pad via Flex XC3401 VRG

-Polished again with Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 w/LC green polishing/finishing pad via Flex XC3401 VRG

(got in tight spaces with a 4" polishing pad and the PC 7424 as well)

-Diamondite Glass Restorer w/cutting pad, Diamondite Poli-Shield w/finishing pad...all with Porter Cable 7424

-Wolfgang Fuzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax by hand....gave the paint an AWESOME wet glow

I also let Chris take my car out and shoot some pics while I worked on his car.

Nice job Matt. Always liked that color orange on the SS. Nice pics of the Vette too. Makes me want a dSLR even more. lol

Ah to be young again and kneel directly on bricks without any ill effects to the knees!! :grinno:

Excellent results!!! LOVE the color!!!

WOW both cars look great! Im definitely loving the CCW's on that Z06. Both cars are very classy and that orange color on the camaro is just dripping wet. Great job man.
