2001 BMW Z3 2.5 ///M Sport Package

Through some connections I was able to get to detail this Z3. Overall, it really needed help. The car sits outside 24/7 and in the trunk was the detailer's favorite tool (sarcasm), The California Car Duster! The bumper, rear right fender and trunklid were all repainted. This car had some of the worst swirls I have ever experienced! You could see them with barely any light, heck, you could even feel some of them!

Process:

Dawn wash

Meg's white clay

Optimum Hyper Compound

Opitmum Polish

3M Imperial Hand Glaze

S100

Inside:

Vacuum

Secrect formula leather cleaner

Lexol conditioner

Wipe down on every surface, nook, and crany (not kidding!)

Wheels:

Mother's cleaner WAx

Nice clean up. That was in pretty rough shape. You knocked the swirls down pretty good. :goodjob

A tripod would help your pictures come out a little cleaner next time.

Nice turnaround on this one ,bet the owner was happy.

Pity the pictures dont do full justice to your job.

Well done

Great turnaround! What was your process on the convertible top??

Thats a leak in my detailing skills that needs to be plugged.

I used a P/C for the whole job, it was a little over whelming, but we made it work.

All I did was wash the top with dawn. The owner said he treats the top every so often. I did not get the name of what he uses.

To clear the air, so to speak, I was not drinking. I was very tired. When I get tired, I get loopey, I hope that explains the bad pictures.

Excellent work Wade! Major turnaround on the Z3, you weren't kidding when you said it was in rough shape. I can imagine you were exhausted after that detail. Is there anything you'd do differently with either pad or product if you were to do it again?

RaggTopp I'll bet - very popular among BMW Z owners. The factory stuff isn't bad either, though.
