2000 Vette and 1996 Caddy

I didn't get before shots of these. In both cases, I was so pressed for time, I only took afters.

First up is this 2000 Vette. It has been heavily modified. Exhaust, Z06 wheels and brakes, Hurst shifter, and several other engine mods. It has 60K miles, and had your typical wash induced marring, spider webbing, and swirls.

The Vette process was:

-QEW wash

-Meguiar's white clay

-Aqua Wax on wheels

-Water Based Dressing in wells and on tires

-Surf City Garage Metal Polish on exhaust and the exhaust Vette emblem plate (used a terry towel and q-tips to polish that)

-Spot buffed with M105, LC Purple Wool / Makita

-1Z IP with LC Purple Wool / Makita - 1000 rpm

-1Z HG with Meguiar's Yellow Solo foam pad - 1000 rpm

-Meguiar's #9 with Meguiar's Black Solo pad - 1200 rpm

-91% alcohol wipedown

-ONR wash

-Meguiar's 26, buffed off with Optimum Car Wax

These pics are after polishing, alcohol wipedown, and wash - No LSP

Pulled it back in the garage, and applied the 26 and OCW

Next up is the '96 Caddy. The client just drove it here cross country from California. It was 95 degrees, no shade, and I detailed it in a hotel parking lot (black top).

QEW wash, and Meguiar's white clay. I used LC Purple Wool and M105 on the Hood, Roof, and Trunk (client likes to sit/drag items on these surfaces). I then used Optimum Polish, LC 5.5" low profile orange pad on the PC at speed 6. Collinite 845 was applied and buffed off with Optimum Car Wax. Water Based Dressing on tires and wheel wells, S100 Wheel Cleaner.
