This was actually a fun truck to polish..

And drive...

Since mines only an xtra cab the tires on this beast are way huger and its higher..

Anyway heres the process:

Wash with Meg's gold class(two buckets w/ gritguard)

Clay with meg's last touch(1:1) and some meg's clay.

M80 with LC orange pad( made quick work of all the random scratches all over this thing)

ScratchX by hand in a few areas where I couldnt get the PC.

M21

Meg's UQD.

NXT metal polish on bumpers

All Season Dressing on Trim

Hot Shine on the tires

Water Based Dressing on the wheel wells(I am out of hyperdressing :(..)

I think Im gonna go back in a week or so and throw some natty's on there or somethin. Should really make it pop!

On to the pics:

The proud owner, lori. She comes to my work(starbucks) every day. shes awesome and I worked on her van before..

Ok im done. It was just a fun truck to polish.. not as special as the Z I did saturday.

that looks really nice and wet diet, the tailgate shot is my favorite, nice reflection for the color. just curious, when you say scratch x in areas the pc couldnt get, what spots are you reffering too? under the mirrors? between the bed and the cab? just trying to get an idea of how much work was by hand.

Yes under the back window between it and the bed. And under the headlights and inside the back bumper area where its painted(hard to explainn unless you look) but ya mostly the PC made it pretty easy!!

I wish I had better pics but you know how white and the sun are. I think I am going to go back next week and put some natty's paste on there since it made my paint "POP" its great stuff on white. Plus she paid me plenty and shes an awesomee lady so i'll just do it for free. haha.

Yeah man I love M80 and the finish it leaves.. even with the orange pad..

Turned out very nice! :)

I agree about #80, it doesn't get nearly the love it deserves for some reason.

I love the wet looking finish that #80 leaves behind, but hate how it makes my pads jump on my makita, even when sprayed with QD for extra lube, it just does not glide like OP does.

I have loved my 50/50 OP/#80 mix though.

I also enjoy using OP. Its a nice polish.. I noticed my orange pad gunked up pretty good with #80 even after trying to work the product out into a towel. It didnt effect the performance of it though..
