This car is my Mom's 2000 Infiniti I30 with about 45k. She barely drives it 6000 miles a year now so most of the time it sits in the garage and Im the only one that takes care of it. It had very minor swirls but overall in great shape.

Process:

Wash Zaino Wash

Z18 Clay bar during wash.

Zaino ZPC via Rotary @1000rpms white LC polish pad.

Menzerna FPII via PC with white LC polish pad

Z6 wipedown

Z2 (not Pro) ZFX

Z8 wipe down

Glass cleaned with Stoner IG

Wheels, tires and wheel wells cleaned with Meg's Wheel Brightner 4:1 water:solution

Tires dressed with Mothers FX tire shine

Interior, leather and dash cleaned with woolite

Leather conditioned with Z10

No before pics on the car since there wasnt really anything to show.

Afters:

Below: Direct sun shot, dont know why it turned out kinda of dark. Keep in mind this camera is still new to me and im still learning the best settings for each type of pic/lighting.

Questions, comments always welcomed!

And I know I'm gonna get a bunch of people asking me why I did ZPC first then FPII.....Well this is my first time using ZPC even though I have had it since last year and from what I have read (Correct me if im wrong) is that ZPC is slightly more aggressive then FPII. I can tell you what though, ZPC via the rotary leaves a BEAUTIFUL finish!!!!! The main reason i did the FPII step was to get rid of the very slight holograms that I left with the rotary in some areas. FYI the whole process start to finish took about 4.5 hours...Im slow!

Thanks guys, Im still waiting to get some "customer" details, I have tons of people wanting to get their car detailed but no one actually setting up an appointment or committing to one. I know very soon I will be detailing this 1990 porsche 911 Carrera 2. Its in pretty rough shape but should make for some good before and afters.

you could always practice on my car - it is in pretty bad shape. :D

lol, thomas, i guess you been too busy to keep you car in shape lately? I could use some more practicing wetsanding an entire panel! Feel like volunteering your car for that! :) JK JK

- actually yes - the hood/roof/trunk needs to be wetsended anyway. I want to learn wetsending as well. Let me know when.

PS:

I just washed it, OPd/orange pad the hood & the rear bumper on the pc - had some holograms there :( and finished it off with OCW (washed/OCWd my girlfriend's van also - I have a detail later today in Chantilly.

Yea I need to wetsand my trunk and roof. I have wetsanded before, just small areas not an entire panel. We'll have to get a time setup to work on your or my car sometime this summer. Let me know what your schedule is like.
