Heres my car after a little freshing up after a few days of rain.

Two weeks ago I fully detailed it with:

-Wash

-Clay Bar

-IP with Orange pad

-FPII with White Pad

-AIO with White pad

-P21S

Then the day of these pics I:

-Wash with Zymol auto wash (it was $2.99 for a gallon at Big Lots)

-QD with Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield

Heres more pics and fullsize pics of the cars. http://community.webshots.com/user/quiksilver81

Now for the Cayanne Metallic Red Camaro. Sorry about the bad pics, the sun was going down and I couldnt get out of the garage. The car looks more shiney now and the Metallic flakes really come out now in the sun. I just think that it could use some more depth, maybe Ill try a new topper sometime. Would Collinite 476-S be a good one for depth and durability?

Heres the process I used on the Camaro:

-Clay bar (done a few days earlier)

-Wash

-SSR2.5 with Orange Pad

-AIO with White Pad

-Z2

Man, your GP looks awesome! That's it, I'm going to have to give my Grand Prix the royal treatment today after work. :D

Nice work on the Camaro too.

I would have never thought to use the Menzerna Acrylic Shield over P21S. Your GP looks AMAZING. One of the best looking details I've seen on here for a while... at least from what I can see of the car. A job well done!

Thanks for the compliments guys. It took me a while to find the right combo for the GP. I still need to go back over it though and try to get out some more of the scratches it has, but they arent that noticable.

That Grand Prix is one of the cleanest I've seen!

Nice work on the Camaro too.

In response to the topper question, yes, Collonite 476S will improve depth and durability and hide any wash induced marring that may occur over time.

Thanks for the response about the Collinite, I might have to pick some of that up.

And for the tires I used Black Magic Tire Wet Foam. The reason why the tires are so shiney is because the pics were taken within an hour of spraying it on. They dont look that shiney anymore:(

After seeing that picture, I think I'm gonna buy some Menzerna products. Do you have anything bad to say about them or any comments

The IP and FPII can be tricky to use sometimes. The main thing is trying to figure out how much product to use. Also you have to use both products since the IP leaves some minor swirls or marring and it makes the paint look dull, after you use the FPII it brings back the color and depth. Most of that shine came from the AIO, P21S which added depth and then using Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield as a QD which really made it pop. After using the SSR2.5 and seeing how easy it is to use and how it doesnt dull the paint I think I'm going to stick with the SSR line as my new compound/polish.
