Ok, so im brand new to detailing, although mentally vertanized due to the extensive amount of reading i've been doing on the site. I'll be doing my first official detail in a week. As the title says, client has a 2000 bmw 323i Red. It has HEAVY swirl marks, light oxidation all over the car...it's in bad shape.
My questions are, from anyone's experience, is the paint soft or hard? Is it easy to mar?
My process was going to be:
Glimour Foam Gun, GC Soap
Sonus Clay
Megs #95 Via PC 4 in. yellow edge pad
106FA via Pc 4in. white edge pad
Prd85F as an LSP 6 in. blue LLC pad 1st layer, 2nd layer with a White LLC pad
BlackWow on Trim pieces
Autoglym via Pc
Interior to recieve:
303
vacuum
GC Leather Protectant
What should i use for the dash, would 303 be fineand leave a natural look?
Also, what's a good polish and wax to use on the rims?
Thanks ahead of time for the answers!
