2000 911 in black, of course

Might as well round off the long weekend with a Yin and Yang. This one would be the bad one. I am literally so tired that I’d rather type how I don’t feel like looking this up which probably took longer than actually looking it up. Furthermore, to paraphrase my favorite nameless narrator which I can recite off the top of my head of course, “Naturally, I will not be able to explain to you precisely whom I will injure in this instance by my spite.”

Anyhow, I think this is a 2000 model.
It had a hard top on it that had been repainted at some point. The car was in pretty dire condition. Hence the aforementioned yin or yang. :)

Recently new to the current owner. He had been driving by my house for years seeing all the cars outside and finally looked me up. Came over last night and booked for today. I was still recovering from the white Subaru job (sux getting older) but this car really needed some serious TLC.

Package was initially sold as a glorified one step with machine applied sealant and hand applied wax but I still held detailers choice.

Ended up going a little different route but I don’t feel that it hurt any value on either end of the transaction. I would have probably put in more effort and energy in the initially planned route and got less of a result. I also didn’t want to try a whole lot of different combinations (I did try several initially) so I just went after it.

Poorboys PWC blue - first pass with urofiber pad and second quick pass with yellow rupes pad

Duetto, Mini, Nano (lhr21 mk2 sat this one out- I still haven’t washed all the 7 inch yellow pads I used on the white subaru)

Polish Angel Black Wulfenite topper
Polish Angel Diver on glass and Supersport on wheels/exhaust tips

Owner had recently used back to black on all the trim and it looked pretty good so I left it as is and provided him with some Poorboys trim restorer for when the trim starts to fade again.
Poorboys bold n bright gel on tires
Probably forgot something as well
I could have spent a lot more time on this one but I`d say it was still a great improvement.

On with some pics. Videos in second post

Thanks for viewing.

Damn what a difference. That paint definitely needed your touch. Great work.

I forgot I have a bottle of blackwulfenite. I need to use it on my next black car coming in a few weeks it looks great!

Great job Brandt. Not a fan of the goofy looking hard top. Does not take anything away from your hard work though!
