#20 question

I'm looking to do my winter detailing before the snow comes, and was thinking of using something durable.

How long does #20 last for ?

would it last through a Canadian winter?

Can I use any cleaner to prep the paint, cause I have Mothers right now.

It will last a decent amount of time. If you can get a fair amount of layers on your car and not use a harsh soap when you wash the car you should be set for a fair amount of time ...... the entire winter? Depends on how often you wash, how strong the soap is and how much of a beating you car takes from the road salt.

Put it this way, it's light years better than wax in terms of protection.

#20 has cleaners in it last time i checked.....Not really layerable in my opinion.....;)

Meguiars longest lasting product at the moment is #98 Meguiars Medallion Premium Paint Protection. It is a bit more work than #20 in that it will stain your trim white so you need to cover it or be careful not to get any on it. Per Mike Phillips suggestion I apply it and wait about 15 minutes before removing it. Also, wait about 24 hours after removing before you put a second layer on.
