Hi everyone,
not sure if either of these cars would fit in the classic category, however both of them are unusual to me, and both of them are in a bit of a state right now. Uncovered in a garage, filled with bin bags, TVR soft top roof covered in pet hairs, cats paw marks all over the paintwork, several rusting/bubbling paint points on the Merc. They are both in a pretty bad way, but I agreed to do them, probably next weekend or the weekend afterwards.
OK the reason for the post, firstly the cars of concern, as I say I don't yet have pictures of the specific cars, but here are links to similar cars
1994 TVR Griffith 500 this image is the wrong colour, but a simlar car. The TVR up for detail is Cobalt Blue.

1978 Mercedes 350 SL and this image looks like the colour of the car too

So, I will need some help in determining which products process to use
1. cat hair removal from the sof-tops for example
2. TVR has a fibreglass shell/body, would that make any difference to the products/process I might use?
3.Is the mercedes a metallic paint? I ask the question because it is not obvious! It looks almost like a pearl finish, but its hard to see any metallic flek in the paint at all.
4.Would the paint on the Merc be single coat, and if so any precautions I should take?
5. Merc has cloth seating, tips for cleaning (they don't look too bad)
6. TVR has very cracked leather seats (Z10 maybe?)
Any specialist people here (CleanDean springs to mind) that have experience with these types of vehicles and any tips from anyone as to the best approach and products to use, gratefully received in readiness for this detailing session.
The Merc has a lot of fine scratch marks, probably from being washed with a sponge and bucket, but otherwise I think the paint is in quite good condition.
