2 sided MF towels

I did a search but didn't come up with it. Sorry if it's there. Anyway, my microfibertech elite MF towels have 2 sides to it. One side being much more plush. Which side is used for what. I'll be using these when using QD and buffing off S100.

I have the same and although I use a Viper mf towel for glass, I always used the less plush side damp to wipe glass and more plush side to dry it off. I only use the more plush side for qding.

Bill. I know I am a newbie but your collection of chemicals is sick. Hopefully I will be there one day!!!

The thing is Dalton,

Although i've been a nut about my cars for a while, most of those products were bought THIS year as a result of reading autopia too much :D :D :D

Bet if you ask 50 people, you'll get 50 different answers:D

I tend to use the less plush side for windows and for removing product (wax, e.g.), the more plush side for buffing. Probably use the more plush side for QDing, but not always. That helped a lot, didn't it:)

Well Ernie,

I pretty much agree with you. I would do the same with applying and removing product. I always use the plush side to qd the paint because I'm afraid the less plush side might be too rough for black paint.

Guy. Be sure to do the CD test on those Wally World towels. Grab an AOL CD on the way out the door. Rub lightly and check for scratches or marring in strong light. Then rub hard, check again, Then scrub the heck out of it and check again. Do the same thing with the binding, the thread around the edge. I have a couple of Wally World towels. I wasn't impressed. They get used for grungy, non-body work. But if Wally World is all you can swing for now, check my other repy about Costco, they go for it. Just "be gentle".
