2 consumer compounds - which one to get?

Hi,

As I've already mentioned in another thread, I need to remove "stains" made when wetsanding with a 2000 grit paper.

Now I wonder, if these two are basicaly the same product:

Meguiar's Direct Ultimate Compound

Armor All - Colour Restorer



The thing is, that I can get the second one in the local store, and sadly, Meguiar's is a bit harder to get here in Slovenia. Does anyone have some experience with armor all?
 
Ill put my money down and say that megs ultimate compound is by far the best compound out there thats readily available OTC over here.



Im not a fan of anything Armor All makes.



EDIT: Though I havent used the armor all, I HIGHLY doubt that there the same product or anything even close to the same
 
I also kow that Meguiar's has a far better image that has to derive from somewhere (I'm guessing quality). But it actualy is extremely hard to get it here. I would possibly have to go to Austria to buy a bottle of this compound.
 
I just used the ultimate compound last weekend with a rotary and a white lc pad on a silver accord. You will not be disappointed.....

I dont know how far that is, but it will be worth it. Why waste time and money. Do it right the first time. Get the UC and you wont have to worry about using the Armor all and end up needing the UC in the end
 
Ultimate Compound is almost as capable as M105. Just make sure you get some SwirlX to finish off with, as it is pretty aggressive.
 
Well today I went and got myself the Armor All, as I just couldn't watch those hazes anymore. It's far from perfect, but it seems to me that it did its job, and it did it well. Only that polishing by hand wasn't enough, as it states on the label. I used the rotary, and it is fine now. I'm just a bit nervous about tomorrow morning when the light will show me the real result.
