1Z PP on new car?

Just bought my daughter a practically new (7500 miles) Accord. The car is a charcoal gray color and the paint looks great, but I don't believe it has ever been waxed or polished. I have a can of 1Z Paint Polish that I have used on my older car, but I notice that this does have a slight abrasive action. Is it safe to use PP on a virtually new car (followed by Glanz Wax), or should I go with something different? (I have Glanz Wax and S100 on hand, so would one of those alone be a better choice?)

Thanks!

If the paint is more than 90 days old, you can pretty much use any polish you want. 1Z PP would be a very nice choice on the Honda and I would actually use both of the other two products you have. I would apply GW, let it cure for 24 hours and then apply S100 on top of that. Your daughter should be very happy.

Yeah, while the PP might be a bit more abrasive than you really need, most vehicles have some marring by the time they have 7500 miles and the PP should work just fine. As JDookie said, apply the GW after the PP and consider adding a S100 topper if you're so inclined.

1zpp will work fine on your new finish. It did a super job on mine and on my SUV that had some fine swirl marks I just used a more aggresive pad and it took care of that.
