it was taken about 7pm with overcast after the storms, it's my Black Sapphire Metallic BMW. whatever wax the dealer used, it left white residue in a lot of the cracks and cervices.

ext: dawn, Z18 clay, bmw shampoo aka sonax, ZAIO, Z6, Z5 w/ZFX, Z6, Z2 w/ZFX, Z6 and Z8 - I used ZCS and Z-8 on the wheels and Z-16 for tires.

int: 1Z Cockpit Premium - love that stuff, leaves a terrific matte finish and Z10 for the leather.

it definitely looks like glass in person, i love the results as i am new to the zaino line-up, second time using it - i would say klasse SG and FMJ feels slicker. my photo skills is weak :chuckle:

thanks for the compliments, i'm still learning more and more about zaino techniques - i've probably read their website half a dozen times :D

i dis notice that Z2 w/ZFX has some dusting and a little harder to remove, is it just me?

This car looks just like an M3 if it didn't have fog lights. I don't understand the point of the M3 anymore. The 335 has amazing specs and even better when chipped.

great work with zaino!

How thick did you put it on? There should be zero dusting. Less then one ounce should do the whole car. If it seams hard to remove, simply wait a little longer before removing it. Also, I think you used a little too much z6, but if you are happy with it that's all that matters in the end. Personally, you didn't need to use it at all there. I usually use it after a wash, I do a quick dry, and then a second dry using z6. Also, if you used it full strength, it has cleaning abilities that may effect durability, and yes i'm sure some people with disagree with that. If you do use it as an aid to remove Zaino sealants, you should dilute it 1 to 1 with water, and use Cotton not MF which will have more chance at removing protection. Different strokes for different folks, and Im sure everyone has a slightly different Zaino routine because they have so many options.

i was on the fence with using Z-6 between layers too and i share your concerns about it affecting the durability since it has cleaning abilities. next time i will most likely skip the Z-6 between layers.

i think i did use too much Z-2, i need to wet my applicator pad more also.

Very nice, I love the m-tech kit.

The power delivery and chassis couldn't be more different between the 335i and the M3.

Absolutely right. My brother has a 335i and I have driven the e92 M3 on many occasions and they are two completely different performers.

Anyways the detail posted came out excellent, the finish is really glowing!

Wow your car looks great.

You should try the Zaino Clear Seal on the paint too, on top of the Z5/Z2 coats. Then a final wipe with Z8. It will look even better and last longer.

I would keep using the Z6 in between coats. I don't think it has detergent or anything. Cleaning ability just comes from being able to use to wipe off light dirt without scratching your finish. The Z6 makes things a little slicker also making it easier to apply a thin coat of the next layer. just my opinion.
