I just got my Poorboy's order yesterday so I tried it all out on my 2000 Grand Prix GT with Champaigne Beige Metallic paint.

1. QEW

2. Clay Magic Clay bar

2. SSR2 (only on hood, roof, rear deck lid, & spoiler)

3. PwC

4. EX-P

5. QD+

6. EX-P

Swirls are still there, but SSR2 drastically reduced them. I'll probably try DACP when it arrives.

I am very happy with PwC and EX-P. I'm still on sure if I like their quick detailer, QD+.

Here are the pics. Not too bad for a light color. Sorry I have to post one at a time.

Enjoy,

Robert

Nice job on the detail. How did you apply the SSR2??? I did a white grand am gt not to long ago and it came it really good. I really those Pontiac cars. Keep up the good work.

Looks very nice! I found Grand Prix paint to be somewhat difficult to work with when I worked for Carmax. Just out of curiosity, why did you use 2 coats of EX-P?

Johnny, I applied SSR2 just using a terry applicator pad by hand. I probably could have gotten them all out if I would have had a PC.

COBRyan, being the recovering Zaino Zealot that I am, I was hoping that two layers of EX-P would increase the shine and reflectiveness. But I didn't see much of a difference.:(

Probably the biggest difference came from teh PwC. It was amazing how it polished the paint to a nice shine.

I have Natty wax also, but I don't have any foam applicators. Does anyone know if you can apply Natty's Paste Wax with just a MF applicator?:nixweiss

I bet you could, but it there would be a lot of wasted product. Wouldn't recommend it. You could just stop by your local walmart and pick up some of those meguiar's foam pads, black magic has some new ones out also.

I just ordered Natty's the other day, and it stated that there would be a pva applicator included with the order.

Well, I went to Wal-Mart and bought the Meguiars yellow foam applicator pads. Each pack of two is less than $2 so I bought four packages.

But anyway, after work today I quick detailed the GP to remove any minor dirt or dust I may have collected over the past day or two since the PwC + EX-P application.

Natty was REALLY easy to apply with the foam pads. It used hardely any product either. I then buffed off with an MF.

Natty results...:shocked I must say, I am very impressed. The Natty wax is awesome! I've never seen my GP shine so well, especially being such a light color.

After waxing the entire GP, the sky was looking dark so I pulled in into the garage. Literally 10 seconds after pulling it in, it started raining heavily.

Tomorrow I'll try to post updated pics with the Natty wax.

Robert.
