Borrowed my brothers DC, to take pictures of a detail. I must say, taking pictures is fun.

Process

Int:

Vacuumed, Dusted Everything with Meg's & Viking Int Brushes

Tried in vain to spot clean with 303 (Need Extractor or Steamer NOW!!!)

Wiped down Vinyl & Plastic with Simple Green Extreme Clean/Aerospace Protectant/Water mixture

Wiped Glass with Stoner's & Black Magic Glass Cloth

Dressed Interior with 303 AP

Ext:

Wheels sprayed/agitated with HT-710 Wheel Cleaner

Tires sprayed/scrubbed with HT-1 Tire Cleaner

Washed - TW Big Orange Soap, (Tried Accumulator's rocking method with Brush. Very cool.)

Dried with Absorber

Clayed

Black Trim treated with Trim ReNu

Polished with PC/White Flat LC/HT-300 Medium Cut Leveler

Hand Applied Trade Secret

Tires dressed with Mach V/Water 1:8 mixture. Very natural look, but it'll probably be gone tomorrow. lol

Hard to see the dirt on the lower panels but it was pretty nasty. My rinse bucket was as black as I've ever seen it.

Here's more afters.

Hope to invest in a nice DC so I can take even more detailed pics in the future. :2thumbs:

awesome, another hawaii member on the board. Where are you located? and where do you get your products from?

Howzit! I'm either mobile or operate out of my driveway in Foster Villiage. I buy most of my products online, TOL, CMA, autogeek, FK1, JW. Haven't bought anything here or at Danase's yet, but I plan to. Maybe the foam gun for starters. I also want to try the excel detail pads. Locally, I buy stuff from Kmart, Checkers, Samsclub, & Walmart. Locally, I got some stuff from PacPro, but haven't been floored. (That's where I got the trim renu 1SLOW50. I suppose it's okay, just seems like concentrated dressing, more than a miracle restore the trim to original luster type of product.) I think I will buy most of my products from PakShak from now on. Hawaii Truck Concepts is their local distributor. In fact I'll probably head down their today to pick up some Optimum stuff.

Where are you at? Any suggestions where else to get stuff?

Pretty nice work...although I can also see the advantage silver has over black-in the before pics, even though it is dirty, it really doesn't look that bad. :)

I know! I figured I might get laughed at because some of the before and afters look the same. Shoot, I was laughing at them. The camara I use doesn't get a lot of detail well. I was trying to take a picture of a dent and in some views it wouldn't even appear. I guess I need to take close ups next time. I'll be doing a Green Lexus and a black 06 Tribute once the rain stops, I'll be sure to take better pictures.
