This is the first thorough paint cleaning I've done since I found this board. I would call it a detail by any means because just this took an entire day, the interior is still pretty bad...

It's by no means perfect, but this is the best I can do with my PC. And I had to work outside. I got out the majority of the swirls. I'd take one of those sun pics to show swirls, but I don't know how. They always come out too bright. I've gotten many compliments the past couple of days, and friends seem amazed by how good the car looks.:dance

Tires:

Purple Power

Meg's Endurance High Gloss

Wheels:

Meg's Hot Rims

Mother's Chrome Polish

Washed with Gold Class

Clayed with Meg's clay

SSR2.5 with 4" Yellow CCS Pad

TC-8 with 6.5" Orange LC pad

OP with CCS White pad

2 quick coats of EX-P

Stoner's IG on glass

No before pics. It wasn't terrible before, but it was dirty.

These pics are actually taken the day after the cleaning, after the car had been driven to and from work, and later to a friends house. Pics taken near sunset. Was told it was a good idea, didn't turn out so well

Interesting sunburn a consequence of being outside all day, and thinking I could cover my whole back in sunblock myself:wall

As you can see I don't have very much skill with my cheap Polaroid i533. I hardly know how to work the thing lol.

I'm going to get more pics this weekend after I put a coat of DP Maxwax over the EX-P. I think the EX-P is the best stuff I've ever used. Glows like #16, but shinier. Not as shiny as TC-3xp, but more life to the paint. Hopefully I'll learn to take better pics by then. I'll also have the interior, engine bay, and wheel wells done then hopefully.

Even with the quality of pics, the car looks great. Very wet!! Great job on your first correction.

Very funny last pic. Results were well worth it though!!!

Great work. At least you didn't burn the paint! :LOLOL Sorry, I just had to get that in.

Even if its hot outside, I'd rather keep my shirt on, for that exact reason.

Nice job. Makes you feel great when your friends compliment you on a job well done.

Good information about the prcess too.

Keep at it, and keep a shirt on next time. :LOLOL

I hope your sunburn does not hurt too bad.
