I thought I would give you guys a look at some leather refinishing.
Here is a 1999 Lincoln Town Car that is used by my customer's wife. She uses it transport two kids around. The seats were more trashed than I imagined. It was also compounded by the fact that I agreed to fix the driver's door panel. I spent way to long on the door panel. Anyway, it was mostly refinishing as there were only a couple of repairs that needed to be made. It was so bright outside that some of my pics are washed out. I would have taken more pics, but unfortunately I took my shirt off and received a little sunburn.
I started with a complete leather cleaning followed with some sanding. I then mixed up the color using my color computer. At first, I thought the color was different on the front than on the back of the seats. After cleaning, I was wrong.
Next step was spraying on the base coat and then the top coat.
The products that I used are my leather cleaner, Craftsman sander with 220 paper, leather stripper and spray gun.
