1999 Imola Red Saab 9-3

I spent about 9 hours 2 weekends ago prepping Liz's car for sale (in, out, engine) and have thus far gotten a few calls on it, nothing serious yet. We only had the car out for 2 days with signs on it, so this week we will try to get it out everyday. Anyways, I feel safe saying this is the cleanest '99 Saab 9-3 around and best running (every part is OEM Saab, all maintenance done and book is stamped).

We didn't drive the car this winter, but it did get a bit dirty. With all of my traveling and the colder temps, Liz didn't want to do it herself, so she made a couple swirl-o-matic runs over the course of a couple months. The tail took it the worst, but the paint is pretty soft, so rather easy to correct. My finals on the car were:

-Z7 Wash

-Z18 Clay with Z7 Wash as lube

-P21s wheel cleaner x 2

-TOL Tire Cleaner cut 50/50 on tires, wells, undercarriage

-Menzerna 106FF via rotary and LC White Polishing CCS Pad @ 1300rpm

-IPA wipedown

-Z6 wipedown

-Zaino Z5 Pro (ZFX'd) x 2 on paint and glass

-Zaino CS x 1 on wheels

-Pinnacle Souveran on paint (24 hrs later---minimal differences, IMO)

-Zaino Z16 on tires x 2

-Zaino Z26 on trim

-CG VRT cut 2.5:1 in wells

Left untouched, right polished (the paint's match once polished)

Wow!! You continue to "raise the bar" on the detailing front.

The Saab looks show-room new.

Your work ethic was established in detailing.

On a personal note, I'm glad to see that it carried over to your professional life.

Awesome as always Sean! :bow :bow :bow

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we miss seeing your details around here.

How many miles are on the Saab?

I think you messed up Sean. That Saab looks too good now! People are never going to belive that everything is original!

Go run it through the car wash a few times to tone down the blinding shine! lol
