First off, I want to say thanks to Autopia and its members for posting their recommended products and techniques, and then showing off the results here. If it wasn't for everyone here I would have nowhere near the knowledge of car care (particularly paint correction) that I do now. :bow Unfortunately, I now have a lot less money... ;)

This is my personal car and daily driver--a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix SE in Dark Green Metallic with 111,000+ miles on it. The goal was to remove oxidation/swirls using only a single polish due to my time limitations. After testing a few areas with PO87MC, PO106FF, and white and orange CCS pads, I decided to go with the popular 106FF and orange. If time was in my favor, I probably would have used SIP and followed up with the 106 or 87MC as the 106 was leaving behind quite a few imperfections. So, this was not a 100% correction. I think I certainly made an improvement though. Let me know what you think.

The process:

-Wash: Dawn/Meguiars Gold Class

-Clay: DP Clay & Lube

-Wash: Meguiars Gold Class

-Polish: Menzerna PO106FF w/ 5.5" orange CCS w/ UDM

-Sealed with Wolfgang PS w/ UDM & blue pad, buffed off w/ Lambswool 6" pad & microfiber bonnet on 6" backplate

That's it, comments are welcome. This is my first time with a DA, let alone any other polisher.

I just did a 97 GP myself!...didn't take pics :(!! (your detail turned out great!!!)

The one I did had CC failure on the trunk and hood...:down
