1997 Porsche Turbo S, in dire need of restorative correction to bring the car back to it's former state when new. As this Porsche commands a pretty penny still and it is gorgeous I had a mandate to fix it.

Heavy dirt under the bumper.

Deep scratches on all exterior painted surfaces.

Bringing it back.....................

Rocker area badly marred.

After compounding.

Wheel wells were as bad as it gets, a whole day alone would be needed to clean them. Test spot shows dramatic difference that it would be when completed.

Had Daniel from Car Connoissuer correcting paint while I went into the "Coal Mines".

With the "Road butter" build up.

A little while later this happened........................

Crusty.

Not so crusty.

Wheels before.

After.

Daniel working on the front bumper.

Suspect a wheel bearing leak for the cause of this sludge like mess.

After.

One side done, off to the other side to clean this rear wheel well.

After.

Crusty engine.

Much better.

Dirt and yellowing paint behind the taillights.

After.

Brought back to cleaness.

Interior was not bad at all, just a general wipe down needed.

Outside ready to go back to the owner, and once again a thing of beauty.

Raising the bar yet again !!!!! Great work.:drool::drool:

Thanks Pat, at times the car fought us so the blood pressure was raised along with the bar. Chad no re-spray on the front bumper as it was a Pikes Peak race car(Believe it...) there was heavy dirt we needed to be able to get rid of so the bumper had to come off.

Bob, & Daniel -
Absolutely beautiful, perfect, results !!

Nothing better than removing ALL the dirt and leaving clean, clear and glossy paintwork !!

I have had the awesome privilege of Detailing a couple of those 1997's, 1 a Turbo, and the other a Carrera; I love those cars !!!

Thanks for the incredible, hard, work !!!

You guys ROCK !

Me too. We will never know

Awesome work. On the wheel wells I suspect a heavy duty apc. Tar remover and perhaps gunk engine cleaner. Not to mention elbow grease. My noodle arm would have quit after one.

It came out great.
I am curious as well. Makes my hands hurt thinking about all the meticulous polishing underneath the bumper covers. Such an awesome turnaround though!

Crazy, outstanding result! Perfection. I noticed that the tires were rubbing in the front wheel wells...that's not good. Perhaps there had been a wider wheel/tire combo on it.

Great work cleaning up this beautiful 993! Nothing like working on the last of the air cooled P cars. Especially in "S" form. Those wheel wells looked pretty nasty. Looks like you ended up having to remove a bunch of cosmoline too?
