1997 Ford Mustang Detail

BLUELINE 1

Protect and Shine
Got off at 4:00, so I had a few hours before dark to detail a 97 Mustang. This one had lots of oxidation and swirls, but all the customer wanted was for me to shine it up and get it ready to be sold.

There were still swirls, but for what he asked to be done I thought it turned out well.

Swirls be damned. The pictures show a shiny vehicle. Your client got what he asked for.

Oxidation is a cruel thing to see if you are a detailer. ProPolish made quick work of that oxidation. It certainly sounds to me. I am guessing that it was less than four hours. Much better than I would have been able to do given the time and the clients wishes.

Did the water spots/etching go away after the ProPolish? Had some problem water spots last fall that I worked on for quite a while, using a plethora of products, then gave up. Used ProPolish a month or so later for another reason and BAM!!! They were gone. Very good product on all types of surfaces.

Yes. The pro polish got the job done. Its amazing how easy it cleans up the spots and oxidation. I have another red Mustang to do this weekend, but its a 2004 so not as much oxidation but lots of swirls. I will have to break out the SSR's for that job.

Sometimes it's hard to make yourself stop short of what you would do to your own ride. As long as the customer is happy, that's what counts. I think the stang looks much better. Nice job!

The first photo shows more than just spotting, there are massive etching going on there also.

The second has a out of focused shine to it, most likely from the etching but from what you had to play with, I'd will say you did a very nice job and the out come is the best it can get with out wet sanding, (depending how much clear coat is left.)
