Man oh man, they don't get much worse than this. Road paint, tar, SWIRLS, and everything. I asked the owner if she takes it to touchless, and she replied "whats that".

Anyways....I'm tired, after the what, 14 hour day yesterday, and anouther 8 today, so I"ll just post this up.

Process:

Horrible paint, just filthy, so I used:

XP Compound via rotary and wool pad

GS1 via rotary and med cut pad

GS1 via PC and finishing pad

Souveran x2

Meg CW on rims and wells

Dress it right on trim and tires

Interior and engine got my normal

Before/after xp comopund on wool:

After GS1:

And a picture of me after 17 hours in the sun yesterday. I'm red as a lobster. Why didn't I wear a shirt. :( There is a lesson to be learnt, WEAR SUNSCREEN!

I didnt even know the sun was out 17 hours a day :chuckle: Anyways, nice detail man. I admire your work ethic :hifive: Im 18 on my way to college and find myself washing my car and showing friends my new products (on their cars) to only get a good detail in a week.

Hehe, good job bro :getdown

Great work!

It's funny. I've done three black CLs. All of em were in horrendo condition, too.

I think the paint on them is naturally crap. The was a lot of clear coat failure on it.

Thanks everyone. I have two black Nissan Skyline GTR's to do on Saturday, heres a sneek peek. :getdown

looks really nice,

how did you learn to work with a rotary ? i would not even think of touching one, unless it was on a junkyard door or something,

just to try it out
