Just wondering how soft the paint was on this car and how hard or soft im going to need to go. Im not sure the condition of the car as I have not seen it yet but im sure its not that bad.

The 92 and 94 9000's that I dealt with seemed relatively hard.

What color? Several of their colors were still single stage in 1995.
Even if it is one of their base/clear finishes, they're nothing to worry about. If anything, they tend to mar more easily than other manufacturers paints. It's NOTHING like Audi or even hard General Motors clears of today (or even a Cadillac factory finish from that era).

I did my moms 96 red 9000. It must have been repainted in some areas, because some places were single stage paint, and some were clear coated. Over all not that hard, pretty easy to clean up. The red was faded and oxidized, that whitish hazy look to it all over. I hit it with a white pad and some poli-seal and OP mixed and it cleared up and looks really bright now. Topped it with opti-seal. No big deal.
