Doing stuff.
Gosh, 5th black car in a row I think. My back hates me.
Anyways, this thing was swirl city. Always got bathed once a week at the local hand wash. Needed full exterior/full interior. Didn't take any pictures of the interior because my card was almost full, wanted to get as many good exterior shots as possible.
Anyways, I did the optimum waterless wash. The lady let me use her garage (score) to detail the car in, as the sun was out in full force. Clayed with a slice of the CG clay. It got dirty VERY fast on this car.
Used the PC with Chemical Guy's CGC-2 compound on speed six with a cutting pad. AMAZING stuff. Tested it against SSR2 with all the same varibles. Both of the products removed the swirls (the paint was pretty soft, thank God), but the SSR2 left a lot of hazing while the CGC-2 broke down and was ready for LSP. Amazing stuff, and very very cost effective. Still want to use it with my rotary.
Also applied a layer of machine glaze. Neat thing is that it seemed to be more effective when I used it at higher speeds on the PC. Don't know why.
Topped it off with Natty's Blue. This stuff rocks.
Here ye go.
